Respect Part 1

What is Respect? Are there people in our lives that we respect? Why is it that we have respect for them? In this sermon we take a look at Genesis 4:1-5 and the interaction between the first family and God and how they show their respect, and for some their contempt, for their God. What lessons can we learn and apply to our own lives.

Which Church?

Which church should I join?

Where do all churches come from? Why is there so much division? Do all roads lead to heaven?

4 Questions answered on which church?

  1. Which Church is the Church which Jesus built?
  2. What about churches that men have built?
  3. Does it really matter?
  4. Where today is the church that Jesus built?

Demons, Exorcism, Witchcraft and Astrology

Four questions for today:

  1. Do demons possess people today as they did in the days of Jesus and the apostles
  2. If so, do we need ‘exorcists’ today to get rid of them?
  3. Does witchcraft have any real power?
  4. Can we know our future by studying the stars and planets as in Astrology? (i.e. looking up your ‘horoscopes’)

Premillennial Perversions: Part Two

Premillennial Perversions: Part 2

  1. Revelation 20 does not teach that Jesus’ second coming is before the 1000 years
  2. Daniel 9:24-27 does not teach that there will be a seven year tribulation in our future
  3. There is no ‘thousand years’ between the resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous
  4. Jesus did not fail in His mission to establish the kingdom
  5. Matthew 24:21 is wrongly applied to a supposedly future ‘Great Tribulation’
