You do not have because you do not ask

How many good things are we, and others who we could be praying for, missing out on because we simply do not ask God?
How do we react when things don’t go as planned?
Perhaps you have economic, family or health concerns?
Do we live our lives with words of defeat (like Job’s wife, the sons of Israel, the one talent man, Felix)?
Or do we live our lives with words of victory (like Job, King Hezekiah, Queen Esther, the apostle Paul)?
To help us better pray as we should, today I would like to consider one of these sample prayers:
